Cherish

Macro photography opens up another unseen world—colors
and shapes are textures that are overlooked by the human eye. The dahlia family of flowers is just loaded with color and beauty.

I used a small aperture to give the image an abstract, painterly feel. The splash of yellow amongst the shades of purple provided a point of interest. Cherish is an image which really shows us what a beautiful world we live in—no matter how big or how small.
